This camp will focus on the 3 elements of becoming a “triple threat” musical theater performer: acting, singing, and dancing. Students will receive daily instruction in each of these theatrical disciplines. This week long camp will culminate in a performance for family and friends on the last day of camp.
DAILY SCHEDULE
1:00pm-2:00pm Acting
2:00pm-3:00pm Singing
3:00pm-4:00pm Dancing
4:00pm-5:00pm Rehearsal for Friday Performance **
** family and friends are invited to attend a performance on Friday, July 13th, at 4pm.
Descriptions of Classes:
Acting: students will play theater games, learn stage directions & stage notations, read scripts, and learn about character development. Each student will receive a speaking role in a skit which will be performed for family and friends on the last day of camp.
Singing: students will be instructed in proper vocal warm-ups, pitch matching exercises, proper breathing techniques, character development while singing, and learn a song to be performed on the last day of camp.
Dancing: students will participate in warm-ups, learn about musical theater dance style, learn about famous choreographers, and learn a dance to be performed on the last day of camp.

- Water bottle
- Jazz or ballet shoes
- Dance or athletic pants, and t-shirt which is not oversized (no baggy clothing)
- Notebook & pencil
